Build trust Confirmed Identity help build trust. Players want to know who you are and why you are legitimate to sell a guide to them on a given champion. 1. Get the [[140 Verified tag|verified tag]] to prove your rank. 2. Add all your relevant socials in your [[creator dashboard]], and write a short description of yourself. 3. Add screenshots of your rank in your [[guide preview]] in the [[publish your guide]] tab, or anything that you deem relevant that can prove to players that you are a highly skilled player on a given champion. 4. You can also add in-game screenshots of your [[210 Tips|tips]] to help players understand what they can expect once they play if they use your [[Live guides|live guide]].
### 2. Provide a great experience during the free trial Make sure that you followed the advice on how [[sell your live guides]]. Players decide if they buy a [[Prime guides|prime guide]] after a few games using it for free. So your first games in the progression path have to be memorable. Check your typos, add some colors, have a good mix of beginner and advanced [[210 Tips|tips]], etc...
### 3. Upload a video presenting the guide in the guide preview **Video presentations** enable players to understand what they can expect when they buy your [[Prime guides|prime guide]] guide. It also helps them build trust towards you. The best type of video is one in which you show some clips of yourself playing the champion and using the guide, _while talking over the video_ about the different topics players will learn throughout your guide. [Example video](https://vimeo.com/612806221) If you don’t want to talk over a video, it’s still beneficial to do a small montage of gameplay with [[210 Tips|tips]] from the guide popping up. [Example video](https://vimeo.com/609737546) When your video is ready, contact Deserter (TomZ#6831) on the discord, or send it over to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) with [wetransfer](https://wetransfer.com/)
>[!tip] >Zar can edit the video if needed. Send to Deserter (TomZ#6831) or to [email protected]: >1. Your voice over >2. One record of a game with you using your guide
### 4. Publish your Guide updates at the beginning of the guide description One of the main fears from players is that they buy a [[Prime guides|prime guide]] that won’t be updated. It’s another opportunity for you to build trust here. Each time you do an important update of your [[Prime guides|prime guide]], mention it at the beginning of the guide description, so players can see that you update your guide regularly.
### 5. Gather reviews and ratings Community feedback is one of the most powerful mechanism to build trust. On Zar, it takes the form of **reviews** and **ratings**. The more legitimate reviews you get, the better.
>[!tip] >Zar already helps you gather reviews at the beginning as the first 20 reviewers get the guide for free.
→ You can also help your guide gather the first reviews by doing giveaways with your community. Creates free coupons and give them to your community, while encouraging the winners to leave a feedback on your guide after they used it.
##### How to generate free coupons for your community? Contact Deserter (TomZ#6831) on the discord, or send an email to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) to create your free coupons.
### 6.
