# How to setup my stream ### Setup your stream --- ### First use 1. Download the app at [https://zar.gg](https://zar.gg) 2. Test it in-game 1. Start a custom `5v5 blind game` in the `Summoner's Rift` 2. Add 9 bots with you ### Checklist - [ ] Draft phase: Check that you have access to a draft panel on the left side of your LoL client during the draft >[!warning] > In custom games, features based on players' data are not working as other champions are not real players but you should see some features. - [ ] In-game: Check that you receive in-game Tips at the bottom left of your screen - [ ] In-game: Check that you have access to additional info by pressing your **Tab** key ### Troubleshooting ##### I don't see the overlay 1. Make sure your run the game in `Borderless` then completely relaunch the Zar app by navigating to the Windows tray, right clicking the Zar icon and selecting Quit. 2. If it's still not working, try to deactivate `hardware acceleration` in the settings or by right clicking the Zar icon in your Windows tray and deselecting Hardware acceleration. ##### I have fps drops 1. Switch to using `DX9` in League, directly from the Zar app settings page ( ⚙️ in the top left corner > LoL game renderer > DirectX9). 2. Make sure that your Graphic Card drivers are up to date. 3. Disable `hardware acceleration` and/or enable `low spec mode` from the app settings (⚙️ in the top left corner) Go [[Help|here for more troubleshooting]] or ask on [Zar Discord](https://discord.gg/hvdnmAv). ### OBS - With game capture Zar enables you to stream your game as usual, with your own setup, with the **game capture** source from OBS. Simply stream League and Zar will be displayed as well. Go into a custom game lobby, fill it with 9 bots, start a game and **stay in the champion select.** 2. Add another `window capture source` 3. Select [ZAR App.exe]: ZAR App - OverlayPanel as window. 4. If the preview is black set the capture method to **BitBlt**. 5. Set the `Window Match Priority` to Window title must match. → Place the red rectangle on the left (or right) side of your LoL client.
