# The basics ## Create --- To create a [[Live guides|guide]], click on **Creator dashboard** at the top of your Zar app. If it's your first time there, fill your [[170 Creator info|creator infos]]. Once you arrive in your [[Creator dashboard|creator dashboard]], click on **+New guide**. ![[Pasted image 20220801162244.png]] >[!note] Example Live Guide >The *Volibear* guide in your [[creator dashboard]] page is an example that you can inspect as if you were the creator, to see how the [[210 Tips|tips]] are structured in the different tabs. ## Save --- In each tab of the [[Guide Editor|guide editor]], click on the **Save** button. If you quit the guide creation, you can come back where you stopped by navigating to your [[Creator dashboard|creator dashboard]] and then to your [[guide editor]]. >[!hint] Tip Your guide is saved every 30 seconds, even if you don't click on **Save** ## Test --- It's important to test your [[Live guides|guide]] regularly in-game so you get a feeling of when players receive your tips. **Steps** 1. Save your guide 2. Be sure that you have your LoL client open 3. Click on the **test in-game** button at the top right of your [[Guide Editor|guide editor]] 4. Select the side you want to play on. 5. Click on **Launch custom game** ## Publish --- Ready to let players follow your guide? Navigate to the [[Publish your guide]] tab in your [[Guide Editor|guide editor]]. 1. Choose if you want to use the guide privately, publish as a free guide, or [[Sell your Live Guides|sell]] it. 2. List at least 3 learning points 3. Write a [[150 Write a compelling guide description|small description]] of you and your guide. 4. Refer to the content tags to assess your guide comprehensiveness. 5. Click on **Publish guide** 🎉 ## Updating your guide --- When your guide is published, you can still update it afterwards. 1. Go in the [[Guide Editor|guide editor]] and update the [[210 Tips|tips]] you need to update 2.
